It is well known that Thailand is keen to promote tourist arrivals, but the Asian country is also focused on boosting tourism participation from India for the many specialized exhibitions held regularly in the country, not only in Bangkok but in other parts of the country as well.
This message came out loud and clear when the Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau is (TCEB) organized a business forum this month, where senior diplomats, officials, and bureau top brass who spoke of the benefits and advantages of taking part as exhibitors and visitors in the many exhibitions.
What was more interesting is the presence of the many association leaders who listed the many gains made by the members who take part in Thailand shows.
Keeping abreast of technological progress is one. They said after the shows they saw the country as tourists also.
The event, called the TCEB Business Forum, was held in Delhi at The Park Hotel and was attended by senior diplomats of the Thai Embassy as well as several association heads who regularly send members to attend exhibitions in Thailand and find the participation rewarding.
