Shao Qiwei: Sichuan remains beautiful as it was, Ya’an is safe for tourists.
According to the Sichuan Daily, on June 24, Mr. Shao Qiwei, Chairman of China National Tourism Administration (CNTA), after his on-spot survey in Lushan County, Ya’an City, Sichuan Province, where an earthquake hit on April 20, says, “Sichuan remains beautiful as it was, Ya’an is safe for tourists. Except Lushan and Baoxing County are under post-quake rebuilding, Sichuan should open in full swing and regain its tourism markets.On behalf of CNTA, I would like to invite tourists from home and abroad to kick off your tours to Sichuan right away!”
Sichuan Province calls out to the tourism circles and tourists at home and abroad that touring Sichuan is the best support for the Province and all because of you, Sichuan will be better!
