Get in the Groove on the Green Music Train

The annual Illawarra Folk Festival starts this weekend and NSW TrainLink is running three Green Music Trains from Bondi Junction via Central to Bulli with live on-board entertainment so customers can get into the groove on the way to the festival.

The four-day event, starting today, will showcase international and local artists playing folk, roots, bluegrass, gypsy and Celtic music, as well as poetry, comedy and dance performances.

“The Green Music Train is now in its third year of running and is a great way to get to the festival with folk fans grooving to the beat all the way to Bulli,” NSW TrainLink’s Chief Executive, Rob Mason said.

“There is no reserved seating so simply turn up, show your intercity ticket and festival pass to dance to the free entertainment on-board.”

There are three special Green Music Train services heading to Bulli over the weekend. For more information, please visit nswtrainlink.info or call 132 232.
