Country Comfort Food: Farmer's Markets at Young

Situated on the South West slopes of New South Wales in the heart of the Hilltops Wine Region, Young is renowned for glorious undulating countryside, vineyards, orchards, fascinating pioneering history and exciting events.

The Cherry Capital of Australia is also home to the Young and Region Farmers' Markets, which offers the perfect opportunity to buy fresh produce direct from the producer. Enjoy the green and leafy environment, wander around the stalls. Stock up on fresh fruit and vegetables, plants, honey, wine, jams and preserves, freshly baked goods and much more.

The first Young and Region Farmers' Markets for 2014 will be held on Saturday 18 January at Anderson Park, off Lovell Street near the Young Visitor Information Centre.
