Charles Sturt University Riverina Playhouse Theatre presents Twelfth Night

"If music be the food of love, play on! Give me excess of it."

TWELFTH NIGHT: or What You Will, is the most carefully plotted and expertly written of Shakespeare's romantic comedies, and is set among the celebrations of Twelfth Night, which traditionally marked the end of Christmas.

The festive, gently, satirical comic plot, including the reversal of roles when series of practical jokes and mistaken identities.

A real gender bender: "I am the daughters of my father's house, and all the brothers too."

TWELFTH NIGHT is to be performed by an all-male cast just like when it was first written back in 1601.

It is a time of rejoicing and holiday high-jinx.

"Foolery, sir, does walk about the orb like the sun; it shines everywhere."
