Queensland featured in Australian Traveller top 100

Queensland experiences and destinations have been heavily featured as part of high-profile travel publication Australian Traveller's '100 ways to holiday here this year' special edition, developed in partnership with Tourism Australia.

The list features 27 ‘ways’ and 40 experiences in Queensland, including three in the top 10 – Burleigh Heads at number two, Cooktown at number five and Cairns at number nine.

A 156-page collectors' edition of the glossy magazine will go on sale via newsstands and Coles supermarkets nationally, including a giant wall map highlighting the top 100.

The list will also be promoted through a digital, social, PR and TV campaign and includes coastal, Indigenous, city, luxury, icons, drive, food and wine, outback, family and regional experiences.
