New Era of Train Travel

Stretch out, relax and enjoy the newly refurbished Spirit of Queensland, running 1681 kilometres along the state’s coastline from Brisbane to Cairns.

In an Australian-first, Queensland Rail introduces rail beds in first class, which convert from an upright seat into a flatbed.

Premium leather seats with in-built entertainment systems have also been installed, adding extra creature comforts for the journey.

Guests wanting to experience this new era in train travel can purchase tickets for the maiden voyage on October 28.
