Quang Ninh Province to Participate in Traditional Craft Village Festival 2013

The northern Quang Ninh provincial People’s Committee and the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism agreed to participate in the traditional craft village festival 2013 in Hanoi.

To be held from October 7-13, the festival will be an opportunity to popularize the trademark and products of outstanding traditional craft villages, introduce tourist services in each locality, contributing to developing traditional craft villages in particular and the tourism sector in general.

The festival will also introduce gastronomy arts of Hanoi and localities. There will be folk art performances such as water puppetry and ca tru singing.

Quang Ninh provincial People’s Committee asked the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to coordinate with enterprises participating in the festival to ensure the effectiveness of the event for tourism promotion.
