AIME Hosted Buyer applications now live

Applications for the AIME 2014 Hosted Buyer program are now open as excitement builds around next year’s event, which will host 750 exhibitors from five continents.

The Hosted Buyer program will offer a personalised diary of pre-scheduled appointments for high-calibre business events industry professionals to meet with their preferred exhibitors.

They will also receive the following:
  • Flights
  • 4-5 star accommodation
  • Pre and post touring opportunities
  • Professional education sessions
  • A complimentary invitation to the Saxton’s Ultimate Event
  • Access to the Hosted Buyer Lounge and Pamper Zone

Jacqui Timmins, Exhibition Director at AIME and CIBTM, said Hosted Buyers should register early to make the most of the VIP benefits on offer at AIME 2014, particularly the pre touring options available.

“We’re currently preparing for what we expect to be a fantastic year at AIME and strongly encourage those interested in applying for the Hosted Buyer program to do so soon so they can be considered for the 2014 event,” Ms Timmins said.

“There is plenty on offer for Hosted Buyers, and with flights, accommodation, professional education and networking events included, we are confident places will fill quickly.

“As the largest international business events exhibition in Australia, AIME is so much more than a two-day event, it’s a great opportunity for peers to connect and do business.

“Results from this year revealed that 99% of Hosted Buyers who attended AIME agreed it was a good use of time for their business, so we encourage those who are considering AIME to submit their applications now.”

To be considered for the Hosted Buyer program, applicants should be responsible for planning, organising or influencing decisions around corporate meetings and events, business and incentive travel, conferences, exhibitions or association meetings.

Interested Hosted Buyers can apply for consideration via the AIME website, with a 10% saving on the registration fee available for early bird applications completed before 25 October, 2013.

Applications will be reviewed by a panel of industry experts and confirmed within four weeks for Australian buyers and six weeks for international buyers. In response to feedback from exhibitors, AIME will be increasing the target for domestic Hosted Buyers by 25% in 2014.
