LA's Starline Tours is the Top Choice for Visitors and Celebrities alike in this “Be Seen” City

Starline Tours, the oldest and largest tour operator in Los Angeles, and the company of “all things celebrity”, continues to provide a variety of tours to educate, entertain and transport Los Angeles visitors. What's New with Starline Tours:

Hollywood Who's Who Look to Starline Buses to Help Make their Scene

Hollywood newcomers and veterans stars alike turn to Starline Tours when the scene requires an authentic Hollywood look and feel. Recent Hollywood stars choosing Starline include:

Arnold Schwarzenegger became a CitySightseeing Hop-On Hop-Off tour guide in full Terminator costume and make up as part of a charity event promoting after school programs for kids. He delighted fans on the double decker bus, scared babies and challenged Hollywood Boulevard Terminator impersonators with proper delivery of his famous “I'll be back” line. (He won.)

Lovely recording artist Lana Del Rey chose Starline's classic topic tour bus for her “Honeymoon” album and video. A matching billboard in Los Angeles became an instant selfie spot. Oxygen TV's Prancing Elite glamreality show climbed aboard a Movie Stars' Homes Tour during a Los Angeles visit for the show's second season.

The Late Late Show's James Corden and Hip Hop Artist Jason Derulo took over a Starline tour bus for an epic Carpool Karaoke episode. While Derulo was teaching Corden moves to “be the swaggiest dude in the club” in a gas station parking lot, they spotted a passing Starline bus, climbed aboard and the dynamic duo gave passengers a “money can't buy this” vacation extra.

The ever-popular TMZ Tour continues to attract stars at every turn of the “thirty mile zone.” Celebrities included Nick Jones catching a ride to his brother's house, Kevin Hart professing his love for TMZ by chanting a TMZ cheer from the sidewalk, the tour finding themselves in the middle of a Sandra Bullock film premiere, and Justin Bieber, Celine Dion, Rihanna, Lebron James and Ben Affleck all greeted passengers, just to name a few. Starline launches new websites for the TMZ Celebrity Tour and all of Starline Tours

New TMZ and Starline Tours websites will have provide more user-friendly attributes and allow agents in multiple locations to book any tour available, servicing visitors in Orange County, Santa Monica, and Hollywood who visit a Starline office for information and tickets.

Starline Rolls to Events for Exposure and Ticket Sales

Starline will add a moving ticket office to locations around the Los Angeles area to take “tickets to the event”. Operating like a food truck, the moving ticket office will be at Farmers Markets, Art Walks, Outdoor sporting events, annual festivals and cool only-in-LA happenings to sell all of the company's tours while promoting Hollywood and West Hollywood, Santa Monica, Los Angeles, Beverly Hills, Marina Del Rey and Malibu. Event planners may request the ticket office for events, and Starline Tours welcomes partners looking to team up for a movable sales and promotion office.

Movie Locations Tour launched summer 2014 – Adds second custom-designed bus to meet demand

After two years in development and a highly successful run for the TCM Channel's 20th Anniversary sold out tour, Starline launched the exclusive Movie Locations Tour. This three-hour tour features clips of movies shot on locations in and around Hollywood and Downtown Los Angeles, LA's prime filming location. The original movie clips provided by Turner Classic Movies are shown on a 65” Screen in a custom bus with stadium seating and panoramic windows. The GPS-timed video presentation is hosted by TCM's Ben Mankiewicz for an informative and entertaining look into the movie industry in Los Angeles, while the bus and guide aboard takes passengers to the exact movie location seen on screen. This tour has been referred to as the “brainiest film industry tour offered in Los Angeles, with a look at LA's amazing but overlooked architecture provided as a bonus.” A second custom bus will roll this summer, with a design for more interior space and a 72” screen.

The Turner Classic Movies Film Festival is held annually each late April in Hollywood over a 4 day period attracting approximately 30,000 visitors. It's a yearly reunion of mixed professionals of the film industry which include directors, producers, actors and movie buffs alike from all over the world to experience classic movies on the big screen as they're meant to be watched. Starline's partnership with Turner Classic Movies and host Ben Mankiewicz provides Starline with product and information no other company has.

Starline provides two tours for international visitors; Grand Tour of LA and Hop-On Hop-Off with Multilingual Tour Commentary

All of the Starline Hop-on Hop-off fleet is now upgraded so that in addition to English, the pre-recorded tour narration is available in eight foreign languages – Spanish, French, Portuguese, Korean, German, Mandarin Chinese, Japanese and Italian. Individual headsets are provided to all passengers to use and to take with them. This now gives international travelers to LA a choice of two multilingual tours from Starline Tours – the escorted 5½ hour Grand Tour of Los Angeles and the CitySightseeing Hop-on Hop-off Tour, the world's largest, covering 100 miles of connecting routes.
