Canberra - Australia's National Capital

National Gallery of Australia
Recently I visited Canberra for a quick visit to explore some of our national capitals tourist attractions. Our family last went to Canberra for a holiday some 15 years go, when our children were still in primary school. I revisited some of the places we saw then, and discovered a few new places. Thanks go to all those people, organisations, and businesses who assisted my visit. These included
- Visit Canberra,
- East Hotel,
- Ox Eatery,
- Murrays Coaches,
- Avis Car Rentals,
- Gold and the Incas Exhibition at the National Gallery of Australia,
- Elvis at 21 Photo Exhibition at the National Portrait Gallery,
- Mapping our World Exhibition at the National Library,
- Cockington Green,
- National Dinosaur Museum,
- Canberra Reptile Zoo,
- Canberra Walk in Aviary,
- Adore Teahouse,
- Stripey Sundae and
- Koko Black.

Old and New Parliament Houses
Even though I saw a lot in my two full days in Canberra, there are many attractions that I did not have time to visit. The War Memorial, the Old and New Parliament Houses, the National Arboretum, National Museum of Australia, and National Film and Sound Archive are popular attractions that I will have to see the next time I visit Canberra.

Over the coming days I will write articles about each of the above and include them in The Holiday and Travel Magazine so you can learn a little more about them.
