New HOSHINOYA Tokyo Dining

HOSHINOYA Tokyo will feature “Nippon Cuisine: Gourmet Collection,” a French-style cuisine of traditional regional dishes with Japan's best seasonal ingredients. Nippon Cuisine debuted in 2016 when HOSHINOYA Tokyo first opened in Otemachi. Now, HOSHINOYA Tokyo’s Executive Chef Ryosuke Oka will showcase his unique expertise in Edo food culture and French cuisine. Ingredients rooted in each region of Japan gathered in Edo, where its food culture developed through the combination of various regional cooking techniques so with this history, each seasonal menu will focus on specific regions and their traditional dishes. Through Nippon Cuisine: Gourmet Collection, Chef Oka pays homage to the Edo food culture and Japan’s best ingredients by combining it with French culinary techniques to create a one-of-a-kind dining experience, only available to HOSHINOYA Tokyo guests.

Located steps from Tokyo Station and the Imperial Palace, the award-winning HOSHINOYA Tokyo is a true sanctuary in the heart of Tokyo’s bustling financial district. Designed by Rie Azuma, this modern 17-story hotel exudes striking Japanese-style architecture among the city's prominent cityscape.

When arriving at HOSHINOYA Tokyo, guests are immediately welcomed by a relaxed, ryokan design and famed omotenashi (Japanese hospitality). Here, guests walk barefoot across tatami-floored rooms and indulge in Japanese seasonal cuisine. A dedicated staff, who maintains Japan’s time-honored customs, is eager to meet any of their guests’ requests and promises the utmost privacy for everyone. To top off this one-of-a-kind experience is HOSHINOYA Tokyo’s crown jewel, the 17th floor open air onsen that is fed by hot springs 1,500 meters below the ground.
