Decadently delicious!

Gotta love Japan's seasonal treats! 

Like this beautifully-designed hydrangea parfait with the flower made with tricolour ginkyokukan (a type of jelly) and filled with apricot bean paste, matcha tuiles shaped into leaves upon layers of rich matcha and vanilla ice cream, fluffy matcha chiffon cake, matcha pudding, matcha jelly and more! 

You can find this dessert at Kinnoyuritei in Kyoto, limited to the summer (early June to early July). Best savoured with a view of Yasaka Shrine, located just across the road!
