With the effective exploitation of rural values, the development of agricultural cooperative models associated with tourism has created a new and diversified development direction for Binh Lieu tourism.

Binh Lieu possesses the advantage of beautiful natural landscape and unique traditional culture of the ethnic minority community, which has become a valuable "resource" for tourism development. From this base, Binh Lieu has been researching and developing various types of tourism such as: community tourism, eco-tourism, cultural - historical and spiritual tourism, nature experience tourism adventure tourism, border tourism and agritourism.

In which, although agricultural tourism has not really had a strong development, it is opening up a lot of prospects with models of agricultural production experiences associated with the lives of indigenous people, agricultural products. The local characteristics, especially OCOP products, have been making an impression on tourists from all over the world. Accordingly, the Golden Season Festival, the Flower Festival, etc. are unique tourism products, derived from the agricultural practices of the people here.

Binh Lieu currently has over 800 hectares of rice terraces spread across communes and towns. At the end of October of the solar calendar onwards, when the rice is ripe and golden in the fields, terraced fields in villages, hamlets, and hillsides like waterfalls are pouring golden color in the middle of the green autumn sky, creating a natural scenery. beautiful nature.

From this advantage, since 2020, Binh Lieu has organized the Golden Season Festival with many unique cultural, sports and tourism activities. In particular, Luc Soul terraced fields have been recognized as a provincial-level scenic relic, contributing to opening up opportunities for tourism development, associated with conservation and promotion of natural and cultural landscape values. of Binh Lieu terraced fields. In the framework of the golden season festival, visitors can participate in the rice harvest experience and participate in the new rice celebration ceremony at families in Luc Hon commune.

Previously, the Flower Festival was held for the first time in 2016 and is maintained every year, also bringing a unique tourist color to Binh Lieu. Thereby, creating conditions for local people to invest and develop tourism services in a more methodical way from accommodation, accommodation and entertainment services associated with the experience of daily life, cuisine and culture. of ethnic minorities.

Along with that, the model of agricultural cooperatives producing Binh Lieu's strong products such as vermicelli, cold-water fish, flower growing, anise essential oil, cinnamon... are also developing effectively, becoming tourist destinations with attractive and unique experiences for tourists. Prominent among them, Cao Son flower garden (Hoang Mo commune) of Binh Lieu flower cooperative is becoming a 4-season tourist destination, attracting a lot of tourists to visit and experience in the Binh Lieu tourism journey. With an area of ​​​​nearly 2 hectares, located on Cao Son mountain with an altitude of several hundred meters above sea level, fresh and cool air, Cao Son flower garden leaves an impression on visitors with The beauty of hundreds of native and imported flowers such as roses, orchids, hydrangeas, buckwheat, sunflowers, coins, butterflies, etc., are blooming all year round.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hai, Director of Binh Lieu Hoa Cooperative, said: Coming to Cao Son flower garden, visitors can visit nursery areas, learn about flower growing process, experience picking strawberries, cutting orchids. female nuns, gerberas; experience being a girl of Dao, Tay, and San Chi ethnic groups and comfortably take pictures with flowers, unique stops such as love bridge, bamboo bridge, roundabout... at the garden. In operation since mid-2019 and after the impact of the epidemic until now, we have also invested in a small farmstay model to serve the accommodation needs of tourists. Up to now, Cao Son flower garden welcomes a lot of tourists to visit and have fun, especially on weekends.
