Spectacular finale for MEETINGS 2015

MEETINGS 2015 ended on a high note last night at Shed 10 on Auckland’s waterfront when 650 event organisers gathered for a spectacular finale.

Staged by Event Impressions, the Production and Music Agency and Spyglass, the gala dinner’s urban chic theme was captured in impressive staging, food, entertainment and multi-media.

Conventions and Incentives New Zealand (CINZ) Chief Executive Sue Sullivan says the discerning audience of event managers was wowed by the experience.

“The team magically created high octane urban chic with a distinctive Kiwi flavour in a vintage warehouse, and it worked brilliantly.”

The Production and Music Agency brought acclaimed Kiwi musician Tiki Taane to the stage, plus some of New Zealand’s most exciting musical and dance talents merging hip hop and kapa haka to create a cultural extravaganza.

For the first time in New Zealand, newly launched company Pictive showed off their cutting edge interactive photo entertainment solutions. A digital graffiti wall, flipbook studio and green screen technology allowed images from the event to be shared instantly on a range of social media platforms and apps.

Pictive is a new venture from Jeff and Jacqui Alexander, who also own and manage Event Impressions.

The Kitchen c/o SkyCity created a stylish menu delivering a food experience that showcased the best of New Zealand’s fresh, local produce.

Sue Sullivan presented CINZ MEETINGS 2015 awards for exhibitors.

The winners were:
  • Best stand – Cut the Mustard
  • Best regional stand – Christchurch and Canterbury
  • Best new exhibitor – Red Pebble Event Design

CINZ MEETINGS 2016 will be held on 15 and 16 June at ASB Showgrounds in Auckland.
