Hop on board one of the unique overnight sleeper trains in Japan!

Sunrise Izumo runs between Tokyo and Izumo in Shimane Prefecture, and offers a few options for accommodation along its 12-hour journey, as one of the last regularly-scheduled overnight sleeper trains in Japan. 

In addition to lounge chairs, there is a section called “Nobi Nobi” where you can sleep in semi-partitioned spaces similar to capsule hotel pods. 

There are also private cabins (none en-suite), available as single and twin, or the spacious Sunrise Twin and the luxurious Single Deluxe.
