Malaysia's national carrier in Brunei will be supporting Tourism Malaysia to encourage tourist arrivals to Malaysia.

Malaysia Airlines today, pledged it's support for visit Malaysia 2020 by extending it's Fly Malaysia campaign to Brunei. The announcement was made by the airline sales office in Bandar Seri Begawan in the ASEA Tourism Forum 2020.

Fly Malaysia reiterates Malaysia Airlines as the national icon and flag bearer of Malaysia and reminds Malaysians of it's proud history of its warm hospitality, which is a representation of the country. For tourists, the fly Malaysian campaign will further enable the airline, via partnerships with relevant tourism bodies, to promote Malaysia to the world.

The campaign will run until the end of December 2020, funding a range of activities to promote Malaysia in key overseas markets and boost domestic and international arrivals. It will heavily support Visit Malaysia 2020 in welcoming 30 million tourists to Malaysia this year to enjoy the country's warm hospitality and cultural attractions.

Among others, the campaign will be promoted with a range of “Home of Hospitality” videos which will see well-known social media influencers discuss what they love most about Malaysia. These will run concurrently to numerous social media initiatives, pushing the Fly Malaysia message out to a wider audience. In addition, there will be extensive sales campaigns promoting the Malaysian experience in travel markets around the world through travel partner corporation, consumer activations and via the airline’s very own travel Marketplace, MHholidays. Fly Malaysia will also see Malaysia Airlines embarking on more sales campaigns together with its sister Airlines Firefly and MASwings.

Malaysia Airlines flies between Bandar Seri Begawan and Kuala Lumpur four times weekly. The airline also codeshares with Royal Brunei could get travellers to Kuala Lumpur and Kota Kinabalu.
