Get ready to shake, rattle and roll as the Parkes Elvis Festival returns to regional New South Wales from 6 to 10 January 2027. Celebrating the theme “Elvis On Tour”, the five-day festival will bring the music, style and enduring legacy of Elvis Presley to Parkes, with concerts, tribute performances, competitions, street entertainment and a town-wide celebration.

The 2027 event marks 50 years since the passing of the King of Rock ’n’ Roll. Now in its 34th year, the Parkes Elvis Festival has grown into one of Australia’s best-known tribute festivals, attracting Elvis fans from across the country and overseas.

Dean Z Headlines a Festival First

One of the major highlights for 2027 is the arrival of Dean Z, recognised internationally as a leading Elvis tribute artist. Dean Z will perform two major outdoor concerts at Spicer Oval: Dean Z: The Ultimate Elvis and Dean Z: EPIC.

Accompanied by the Southern Cross Symphony Orchestra and the Tributes in Concert Band, the concerts will take audiences on a musical journey through the different eras of Elvis Presley. Gamilaraay artist Mitch Tambo will also join the celebrations, adding another dimension to this major concert experience.

New Shows and Familiar Festival Favourites

The 2027 program introduces new productions, including Vegas After Dark and Miss Priscilla in Concert, alongside returning performers and much-loved festival events.

Feature artists Charlie Gaylard and Taylor Rodriguez will return to the Parkes stage, while Mark Andrew is set to make his first festival appearance as a 2027 Wall of Fame inductee. Donna Presley will share personal stories in From My Heart, offering audiences a more intimate connection to the Presley legacy.

Across the five days, visitors can expect more than 200 events, from major concerts and Elvis tribute artist competitions to free live performances, dancing, busking, exhibitions and the famous street parade.

Parkes Comes Alive with Elvis

During festival week, Parkes embraces the spirit of Elvis. Clarinda Street and the festival precinct become lively meeting places for fans dressed in sparkling jumpsuits, vintage fashions and rock ’n’ roll outfits.

Visitors can enjoy Elvis-inspired markets, photo opportunities, live music and performances throughout the town. The festival also provides an opportunity to explore Parkes’ attractions, including the Henry Parkes Centre and the nearby Parkes Radio Telescope, famously known as “The Dish”.
