Thailand is once again opening its doors not just to tourists, but to a new wave of modern professionals who crave a balance between productivity and exploration. The Workation Paradise Throughout Thailand Season 3 campaign, spearheaded by the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) in partnership with digital platform Fastwork, invites digital nomads, freelancers, and remote professionals to make Thailand their temporary office—one stunning destination at a time.
Exclusive Perks for the Global Workforce
Now in its third season, the campaign has grown into a flagship initiative within the Amazing Thailand Grand Tourism and Sports Year 2025. With a national goal of attracting 39 million visitors and generating over 3 trillion Baht in tourism revenue, Thailand is betting big on the rising global trend of “workations”—the blend of work and vacation. This season introduces exclusive discounts and lifestyle perks across more than 200 establishments, including top-tier hotels, restaurants, spas, and co-working spaces. Whether it's checking emails from a beachfront villa in Phuket, taking a call from a riverside cafĂ© in Kanchanaburi, or enjoying a team retreat in the hills of Hua Hin, Thailand is redefining the modern office space.
Curated Campaigns for Creative Professionals
The “Team Travel Workation – Powered by TAT” campaign offers curated benefits from partner businesses. Travellers who visit these venues not only enjoy exclusive deals but also stand a chance to win group travel packages and other prizes.
Meanwhile, the “100 Baht to Work and Travel” promotion, launched in collaboration with Fastwork, provides limited-time travel and lifestyle vouchers for just 100 baht. The campaign is available in two rounds—beginning on 25 July and again on 25 August 2025—making it easier than ever for remote workers to discover new destinations affordably.
Building Sustainable, Mobile Lifestyles
TAT Governor Ms. Thapanee Kiatphaibool emphasizes that this season represents a strategic expansion of Thailand’s tourism offerings. By targeting high-value digital professionals and encouraging longer stays and wider regional travel, the campaign promotes cultural preservation, supports local economies, and strengthens Thailand’s position as a remote work haven.
Fastwork CEO Mr. CK Cheong highlights the deeper purpose of the partnership: to empower individuals to choose how and where they work. With the freedom to explore while remaining productive, this campaign reflects a growing global movement toward work-life harmony, and Thailand is perfectly positioned to lead it.
