A Venue Like No Other

Since its curtain-raising debut in 2023, The Grand Electric in Surry Hills has become a buzzing hub for offbeat brilliance and bold performance. With a mix of cabaret, comedy, music and mind games, it’s a venue that guarantees something unexpected. Now, the beloved boutique theatre has revealed its electrifying 2025 season—and it’s set to blow minds, bend reality, and get audiences singing, laughing, and gasping in awe.

Suhani Shah Brings Mind-Bending Magic to Sydney

Headlining the new season is a rare and thrilling treat—Suhani Shah, India’s most famous mentalist and viral sensation, makes her highly anticipated Sydney debut. With a global fanbase of over 6 million, Suhani will deliver her jaw-dropping show Spellbound for four unforgettable nights in August.

After leaving Australian TV audiences stunned by guessing personal secrets and passcodes live on The Project, Suhani now invites local fans to experience her up close and in person.

Comedy, Cabaret and Camp Gold Coast Glamour

Fan favourite Marney McQueen returns to The Grand Electric after her triumphant performance in Titanique, this time with her own show brimming with cheeky stories, heartfelt songs, and a few surprise appearances.

Joining her in the 2025 line-up is The (Un)Real Housewives of the Gold Coast – The Musical, a five-night drag-fuelled extravaganza of glitter, pop and satire. Expect larger-than-life characters, outrageous musical numbers, and unapologetic glamour in true Housewives style.

A Feast of Fabulous Performances

There’s plenty more on the menu throughout the season, with a schedule designed for every kind of theatre lover:
