  • "The Boy and the Heron" - The Ford (July 25)
The Natural World of Studio Ghibli, a weekend of films from the famed anime studio, begins screening at The Ford on Friday, July 25 with The Boy and the Heron. The most recent film from celebrated animation master Hayao Miyazaki, The Boy and the Heron won the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature at the 2024 Oscars. The series continues with Howl’s Moving Castle on July 26; and The Wind Rises on Sunday.         

Concerts

Fight off that live music FOMO with a show-centric trip to one of the world’s great music capitals! Whether it's historic theatres like The Mayan and The Fonda; or cozier venues like the Moroccan Lounge and Catalina Jazz Club, there's a concert for every genre on any night in LA.

  • My Chemical Romance - Dodger Stadium (July 26-27)
Long Live the Black Parade, My Chemical Romance’s tour focusing on their 2006 album, The Black Parade, hits Dodger Stadium on July 26 and 27 with support from local alternative rock band Wallows. There are very few tickets left for the Saturday night show, with the Sunday night show added due to high demand.
