Over 700 guests gathered at the Viaduct Events Centre in Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland for Regatta!—a nautical-themed finale that marked the event’s return to the City of Sails for the first time in four years.

Set against the backdrop of Auckland’s glittering waterfront, the evening invited attendees to embrace a dress code of crisp whites and navy blues, echoing the sleek lines of yachts and the spirit of the sea. The harbour setting and panoramic views delivered an atmosphere that was both elegant and energising.

The success of Regatta! rested on a powerful collaboration of industry leaders. Auckland Conventions, Venues and Events provided the iconic venue, while Urban Gourmet impressed with a curated dining experience showcasing premium seasonal ingredients and regional New Zealand wines.

The Events Group managed logistics and styling with precision, The Production Agency created dynamic lighting and sound, and Flock Events brought the visual theme to life with creative design touches that honoured Auckland’s maritime heritage.

Culinary Excellence and Show-Stopping Entertainment

Guests were treated to a sophisticated culinary journey from start to finish. The menu celebrated Aotearoa’s finest flavours with dishes that highlighted the best of the land and sea. Every plate was paired with outstanding New Zealand wines, creating a dining experience that matched the elegance of the occasion.

The evening crescendoed with a high-energy live performance by Sonar Flare—New Zealand’s newest supergroup. Formed from members of beloved Kiwi bands The Feelers, Opshop, and Zed, Sonar Flare delivered an electrifying set of anthems that filled the room with nostalgia and energy. It was a finale that brought everyone to their feet, dancing and singing along to the soundtrack of Aotearoa.
