MEETINGS 2025 began its highly anticipated programme with a spectacular welcome event at Eden Park, New Zealand’s national stadium, on 10 June. This legendary venue, steeped in over a century of sporting triumphs and cultural milestones, provided the perfect setting to launch the two-day business events showcase in Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland.

The collaboration behind the evening included creative and technical production by Vidcom, live entertainment curated by Better Band, and support from the Auckland Convention Bureau. The entire stadium space was activated for the occasion, with guests gaining exclusive access to areas not usually open to the public. From stepping onto the famous turf to enjoying a taste of luxury in the exclusive lounges, delegates were immersed in the venue’s legendary atmosphere.

The evening honoured Auckland’s manaakitanga—the warm and welcoming spirit of hospitality—while showcasing the city’s vibrant creative talent and rich Māori and Pacific heritage.
