At low tide there is a walk along the beach to the village of Broad Haven with its long sandy beach and or along the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path. Nearby is the tiny City of St Davids with its Cathedral and Bishops Palace.

This detached house of Glan Y Mor overlooks the coast and the sloping sands at Freshwater East, Pembrokeshire. The Freshwater Inn is on the doorstep and the beach is within walking distance is Glan Y Mor. Guests staying at Black Hall Cottage in Amroth the New Inn, a 16th century pub, next door, while it’s an easy walk to Wiseman’s Bridge Pub along the Coastal Path. The nearby Amroth Arms overlooks Carmarthen Bay on the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path. Black Hall Cottage has sea views over Carmarthen Bay towards Tenby and Caldey Island and the National Trust Colby Estate Gardens nearby.

Carew Cottage, Carew
Carew Cottage is a grade II listed stone terrace cottage in the village of Carew, and two doors down from the Carew Inn. Nearby are the ruins of the medieval Carew Castle, which also holds events throughout the year. Saundersfoot, Tenby, Manorbier and Freshwater East are within a short drive.
The Cranney
The Fisherman’s Return is a 300-year old brick and flint free house in the centre of Winterton, serving up to five real ales, and freshly prepared seafood specials. Within walking distance of the pub is The Cranny, a double-round thatched cottage.

The city of Norwich is the county's main culture centre, with other towns including and the seaside resort and Broads gateway town of Great Yarmouth. Norfolk enjoys over 90 miles of coastline and a landscape that gently rises with an abrupt fall down to the flat Fens area.
