Thailand MICE to Meet You

Let’s talk MICE! From IT&CMA this month to the ICCA Annual Congress 2023 in November, Thailand’s MICE community will be energised by a sense of anticipation as they welcome the world’s MICE leaders and planners to Bangkok.

There is no more opportune time to rediscover Thailand and meet face-to-face with local and international colleagues from every MICE subsector. Come discover what’s new and the many exciting results from TCEB’s collaboration with MICE stakeholders throughout Thailand – new destinations, new activities, and new products. To get up to speed on the latest in Thailand, start at IT&CMA.

Notable developments:

  • TCEB and the office of the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC) are jointly developing Pattaya into the region’s business hub. Discover the city’s potential for MICE and the growth prospects of the EEC’s key industries.
  • TCEB is working with Phuket to create a new culinary experience programme to promote the city’s gastronomical heritage. Come see what’s on the menu.
  • TCEB is working with Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai to develop a tea-and-coffee route for visitors to appreciate the special quality and production process of these two important cash crops from the region. This follows TCEB’s success in helping Chiang Mai win the title of “World Festival and Event City” from the International Festivals and Events Association (IFEA) last year.

TCEB President, Mr Chiruit Isarangkun Na Ayuthaya, said: “Let TCEB be your guide to all that Thailand has to offer as a top MICE destination. Because we work closely with government agencies and regional and city authorities, we are able to help you make the right connections and uncover new opportunities. Thailand offers a business-friendly environment, deep professional expertise in MICE, and a cultural DNA that promises unique and wonderful experiences. Get a snapshot of the possibilities at IT&CMA. Come and see for yourself in Thailand!”

At the Thailand Pavilion, consider TCEB’s “MI Plus” support scheme from the Meetings and Incentives Department, and get acquainted with its new 3Ls concept – Larger than Life, Localised, and Long-lasting – aimed at delivering more meaningful MICE activities. The Conventions Department will also be on hand to share the latest ideas on how to make every event more sustainable. There will be 38 exhibitors at Thailand Pavilion (B1) and 24 more at the Pattaya’s booth (B10).
