Visit Monaco - Why not make Monaco your next destination?

Mobility is a key priority for the Monaco Government. By car, bicycle, bus or on foot, Monaco is a great place to be.

Getting around on foot
Walking is the best way to explore Monaco, its heritage and the local way of life. There are numerous public lifts and escalators, allowing you to reach each district within minutes. It takes just 45 minutes to cross Monaco from east to west on foot. Everything in the Principality is quite literally within walking distance!

Getting around by bus
The Monaco Bus Company (C.A.M) allows you to travel around the Principality between 7am and 9.30pm. The network covers all of the main tourist attractions, museums, the exotic garden, business centres, Casino, Stade Louis-II, and more.

Getting around in Water Taxi
Why not take the solar-powered water taxi across the port of Monaco? It’s a pleasant way to travel from Monaco-Ville to the Casino and back between 8am and 8pm every day of the week. The WATER TAXI is operated all year round by MONACO RIVIERA NAVIGATION (www.monaco-navigation.com) on behalf of the MONACO BUS COMPANY (C.A.M.), which manages all of the bus services in the Principality.

Getting around by Taxi
If you are just visiting, need an airport transfer or are taking a longer journey, the Monaco Association of Independent Taxi Operators offers a personalised service 24/7.

Getting Around By Electric Vehicle

For the past few years, a new trend has been emerging: “Slow travel”, gently travelling, spending more time in a single destination, getting to know the local people and taking the time to discover the heritage...

Getting Around By Car
In Monaco, it is recommended to leave your vehicle in one of the numerous car parks . The Principality has 40 car parks with spaces for a total of 15,500 vehicles. All of them are underground and staffed by security guards, offering the best option for parking your vehicle. Although there is a charge for using most of the car parks in Monaco, they are a relatively easy and attractive solution. All of the “Monaco Parking” car parks offer one hour’s free parking.
