Congratulations! Thailand, the Land of Champion Durian Exports

The Ministry of Commerce disclosed that durian exports during the first half of 2020 increased 73 percent, with a value of 1,411 million dollars in the world market.

The main factor that supports this spike in exports is FTAs. 

China is the the biggest hub. Hong Kong and ASEAN markets come after. In addition, Thai farmers, with resilience and adaptability, are growing fruit with high standards and quality. 

Even during the COVID-19 crisis, durian is being traded through online platforms.
