Queensland tourism to shine with all exclusive Brisbane Baroque

After a hugely successful festival in 2015, Brisbane Baroque is back this year with all events exclusive to Brisbane.

After winning 5 awards at the 2015 Helpmann Awards, Brisbane Baroque will feature some of the great artists on the international stage today, performing with some of Australia’s youngest and brightest stars.

Following the phenomenal success of Faramondo in 2015, Brisbane Baroque is proud to present another stunning international production from the Gottingen Handel Festival – Handel’s Agrippina.

The internationally renowned American mezzo soprano Vivica Genaux makes her Australian debut, and astonishing young harpsichord virtuoso Mahan Esfahani will make his Australian debut.

The Queensland Symphony Orchestra will join forces with Brisbane Baroque in Bach – Music in the Castle of Heaven, and a concert version of King Arthur will also feature, as well as many more recitals, free talks and masterclasses.

The event is scheduled to be held from April 8-16 in multiple locations in the capital of Queensland.
