Families can forget the awkward one-night Halloween suburban walk around and enjoy a whole month of spooky fun at Australia’s premier family resort, Paradise Resort Gold Coast.
Throughout October, Paradise Resort will transform into a Halloween haven with a Horror Train Ride, terrifying Friday Night events, Trick-or-Treat adventures, ghostly games, creepy crafts, and ghastly surprises - exclusively for in-house guests.
Saturday nights 26 October and 2 November will be Fright Nights. The spooktacular evening will feature scary zombies, fire performers, and a 360-photo booth. Little ghouls can enjoy face painting, trick or treat and there will be a Best Dressed competition for the most devilishly clever outfit.
On every Friday night during October, as well as on 31 October, the Horror Express Halloween Train Ride will journey through the Ghost and Zombie Gardens, with creatures of the dark waiting to scare passengers who dare to jump aboard.
On Halloween itself, there will also be a special Kids Club session with little ghouls able to enjoy a themed pass the parcel, ‘guess the food’ challenges, witch races, jelly on a plate, ick the eyeball and a spooky ghost hunt.
And rather than having to contend with unfriendly neighbours, Paradise Resort’s young guests will be able to take part in trick-or-treating across the resort, collecting delicious treats from friendly characters in fun costumes. It’s the perfect way for kids to enjoy a safe and fun Halloween.
Paradise Resort’s Halloween festivities are suitable for the whole family, with different activities planned for older and younger kids, and with plenty of opportunity for parents to sit back and enjoy themselves while their kids have the fright of their lives.
Many of the activities are free, with the Horror Train available for $10 rides, and the Kids Club Halloween Extravaganza $40pp for three hours of non-stop fun and activities.
Accommodation deals are available from $299 a night for a family of two adults and two children sharing a room. The rate includes a free session for children under 12 in the hotel’s Kids Club mini theme park as well as many other activities around the resort.
Designed specifically for families, Paradise Resort offers a variety of accommodation styles with capacity for both small and large families (up to eight). All resort rooms have a private balcony with views of the resort's pool, gardens and surrounding areas.
Voted Australia's Best Family Resort for the 12th year in a row, Paradise Resort Gold Coast is renowned as a ‘cruise ship on land’ and a must-visit for every family.
A mecca of holiday fun, the resort features an ice-skating rink, waterpark, dedicated kids and separate teens club, miniature train, daily activities and loads of entertainment catering to all ages. The resort is situated just 250 metres from iconic Surfers Paradise Beach.
