The 17th edition of Canberra’s Craft Beer & Cider Festival on Saturday, 16th March, is on track for a legendary weekend of award-winning craft beers, artisan foods and free-flowing entertainment with tickets from only $23, including a complimentary drink.
Held in the beautiful streets surrounding the heritage Mercure Canberra in Braddon, with gates opening at 11am, festivalgoers can discover 48 breweries serving up to 250 different beers, cocktails and wines from drink stands by One Drop, Cypher Brewing, Ambrosia Distillery, Coastal Brewing Company, Sydney Brewery, Mountain Goat, Bentspoke, Thirsty Devil Brewery, Broulee Brewhouse, and many others.
An extensive range of popular food providers will offer delicious BBQ meat, nachos, burgers, fish & chips and wraps.
Local Canberra bands, The Burley Griffin and Plump Band will perform live, with a DJ providing additional grooves.
In between tastings, festivalgoers can participate in plenty of fun games like Jenga, Cornhole, and Hook a Tinny, while face painters and balloon artists will provide entertainment for the whole family.
And the fun continues even after the festival finishes, with a shuttle service being offered from Mercure Canberra to Canberra’s exciting Skyfire fireworks at Lake Burley Griffin, which starts immediately afterwards.
