Learn about the art of knife-making as skilled artisans craft exquisite blades. 

In the "knife workshop", you can experience most of the processes, starting from "hizukuri forging," in which materials are reddened and forged with a hammer, to the final process of attaching a handle and finishing.

You can access the Takefu Knife Village by a 20 min bus from Takefu Station, then a 10 min walk from Ajimano Jinga-mae stop.
