Witness the pinnacle of Japan'a autumn foliage with the Naeba Dragondola, Japan's longest gondola ropeway!

The Naeba Dragondola
The Naeba Dragondola in Niigata Prefecture has a total length of 5,481m and takes you on a lovely 25-minute journey through the lush scenery of the highlands.

The best time to visit and board the gondola for the autumn colours is from mid-October to late October (varies from year to year)!

One spot to look out for during the ride is Futaiko Lake, which is a vibrant emerald green and a striking contrast against the surrounding orange landscape.

Once you reach the mountaintop station, take a brief break, stroll around, or fill your tummy with some warm seasonal delicacies.

The gondola ride down provides the same breathtaking view, but from another unique angle due to the steep descent!

Please note that Naeba Dragondola only operates in Spring, Autumn, and Ski Season. For more information on the Dragondola
