Regional Spotlight: Huangyao Ancient Town, Guangxi, China PRC

Huangyao Ancient Town in Zhaoping County, Guangxi, has stood the test of time. This ancient town was originally built during the Northern Song Dynasty in the 10th century CE. 

Over 30 temples, ancestral halls and pavilions dating from the Ming & Qing Dynasties stand in the ancient town, offering opportunities to sample the local Lingnan culture and admire the gorgeous natural setting.

Cross the winding creeks over old bridges, or admire the ancient towering banyan trees that make up an indispensable part of the Huangyao Ancient Town experience.
