'A Beautiful Way To Be' launches in China

Team Queensland is in China has launched TEQ’s ‘A Beautiful Way To Be’ campaign as part of Queensland’s largest ever trade mission to showcase our state’s exporters to China and the world.

The launch of the new brand platform will be supported by three campaigns with travel partners in Northern China, three in Eastern China and five in Southern and Western China starting this month, as well as Ctrip, the largest online travel agent in China with more than 90 million users. 

This month Queensland is seeing the return of China Eastern and China Southern, bringing more than 459,000 inbound seats and more than $755 million for the economy over the next three years. 

Pre-COVID-19 China was Queensland’s number one international tourism market and by 2032 Chinese travellers are forecast to pump nearly $3 billion-a-year into the state’s economy.
