Sydney Opera House launches new film to celebrate 50 years of bravery and creativity
To celebrate our 50th birthday we have launched a special musical tribute written by Tim Minchin - ”Play it Safe".
The song uses Aussie satire and is a celebration of the creative courage that has always been at the heart of the Opera House. Transformed into a stunning music video, with the support of Tourism Australia, it tells a story about the importance of defying conventions and embracing risk. And it’s the perfect curtain-raiser to this historic moment as we mark five decades of wonder and possibility.
