Bilbao’s Night Marathon

The annual Bilbao Night Marathon sees 10,000 participants running through the Biscayan capital. The race has a Marathon, Half Marathon and 10K Pirate Race, and provides and has 2,000 foreign runners from around 55 countries attending the race annually. 

Runners will pass illuminated landmarks around the city, such as the Town Hall, the Gran Vía and the Arriaga Theatre, before reaching the finish line at Frank Gehry– designed Guggenheim Museum Bilbao. 

In registering for the race, runners automatically donate one euro to the Bilbao Plastic Free Ocean, which contributes to the cleaning of plastic waste from the Black Point of Greater Bilbao at the mouth of the Ría. * www.totalenergiesbilbaomarathon.com/en-gb
