Winter in the Whitsundays - Race Weeks and Festivals Galore

Winter in the Whitsundays is a fantastic time of year. The weather is warm, the sunsets are glorious and the Whitsundays region is abuzz with festivals, whales and the Hamilton Island / Airlie Beach race weeks.

This year, Winter festival dates include:

• Airlie Beach Race Week 10th - 17th Aug
• Hamilton Island Race Week 19th - 26th Aug
• Great Barrier Reef Festival 4th - 7th Aug

Later in the year, from the 8th - 12th of Nov, we have the Airlie Beach Festival of Music which is a big event worth planning for.
