Leeds Castle offers rare overnight stay experience, Kent

Leeds Castle is offering overnight stays in its historic bedrooms with breakfast and dinner on selected dates in August 2023. 

Leeds Castle, with a history dating back over 900 years, has been a residence for six of England’s medieval queens, before being transformed into a glamorous 1930s country house retreat by Anglo-American heiress, Lady Olive Baillie. 

Those looking to stay overnight can choose the Castle’s State Bedrooms where Lady Baillie’s welcomed guests including the Duke and Duchess of Windsor, Winston Churchill and Charlie Chaplin. 

There is also the chance to stay in the Battlement Bedrooms, which were designed to house the staff of Lady Baillie’s guests. 

Overnight guests also get a two-course dinner in the renowned Castle View Restaurant along with breakfast. 

Leeds Castle is located five miles southeast of Maidstone in Kent. 

Visitors to Leeds Castle’s have over 500 acres of seasonal gardens and parkland to explore and an annual calendar of events.
