On the eve of Matariki, friends Delwyn and Gigi Tuanui of Chatham Island Food Co will host an extraordinary one-off dinner event at kingi. With generations of expertise in sustainable farming and fishing behind them, Delwyn and Gigi have worked with kingi chefs Tom Hishon and Uelese Mua to create a set menu that’s a journey through the traditional delicacies of the Chatham Islands. Crayfish, kina, black foot paua, blue cod and wild boar; it’s a real adventure for the tastebuds, and sure to be a night of great fun.
