Czechoslovakia is now called Czechia (Česko)

Czechia (Česko) The Czech Republic is rebranding as Czechia (Česko), except where there is an obligation attached to the state designation. 

Czechia, a landlocked Central European country historically known as Bohemia, is bordered by Austria, Germany, Poland and Slovakia and has Prague as its capital. 

The Czechia (Česko) brand will be used in all other cases as it is considered more practical and less formal. It is also seen to fit better for travel, tourism and promotional material and in newspaper articles and magazine features. 

The Czech Tourist Board´s portal will change from Visit Czech Republic to Visit Czechia.
