The Crossrail Place Roof Garden, in Canary Wharf, sits almost exactly on the Meridian line, so the planting is arranged according to hemisphere.

This sees Asian plants such as bamboos to the east, and plants including ferns from the Americas planted to the west.

The rooftop garden, one of London’s largest is open daily until 9pm or sunset in summer.

In summer Bloom, in partnership with the Space Theatre, is a program of festivals, performance and music.  Entrance to the garden and to all Bloom events is free.

Canary Wharf is a thriving artistic and lifestyle hub with more than 300 shops, bars and restaurants, the Museum of London Dockland’s, a major annual events program and a colorful open-air gallery.

Getting to it is easy via the Dockland’s Light Railway and the Jubilee and Elizabeth tube lines.
