Ascott Embassy Sathorn Bangkok - luxurious new stylish apartments

Ascott Embassy Sathorn Bangkok
The Ascott Embassy Sathorn Bangkok serviced apartments in Bangkok newly opened at the end of last year. On my visit to Thailand last year it was nice to stay somewhere that was brand new and in pristine condition.

Over its 38 stories there are 393 spacious Studio, One-bedroom, Two-bedroom, and Three-bedroom apartments with unobstructed city views.  These feature elegantly designed interiors, a wide range of lavish amenities and advanced technology.

My stylish One-Bedroom Premier apartment had a seperate bedroom, bathroom and living/dining /kitchen area. Multi-split air-conditioning made it possible for me to adjust the temperature to just my liking.

The spacious living area came with comfortable seating of 2 chairs and a 2-seater sofa, coffee table, and work desk & chair. Nightly entertainment was provided with a 55 inch flat screen TV, which had a large number of international cable channels to choose from. There was also a home entertainment system to listen to.

The dining areas had a designer dining table and 4 dining chairs.

My seperate bedroom and a very comfortable king-sized bed with high-quality bedding of down feather comforters with duvet covers and down pillows. The bedroom came with its own ts own flat-screen TV so that I could watch TV in bed. I could use the adjustable reading lights and put my coffee on the bedside table. I was able to store my passport in the in-room electronic safe.

The spacious en-suite bathroom had a walk-in shower with rain shower head, bathtub, toilet, hair dryer, shaving mirror, fluffy towels, bathrobe, slippers and a good range of eco-friendly toiletries.

Ascott Embassy Sathorn Bangkok - kitchen
The fully-equipped kitchen gave the option of cooking meals in the apartment rather than going out. A coffee machine meant I could make my own coffee, and the cold water from the provided water bottles was refreshing. The kitchen came with a full-sized refrigerator, electric kettle, microwave oven and a full supply of plates, glasses, mugs and cutlery. There was even an washing machine & dryer for me to wash my clothes.

Ascott Embassy Sathorn Bangkok - infinity pool
The Ascott Embassy Sathorn Bangkok has a comprehensive range of leisure facilities on the 9th floor. I enjoyed swimming in the infinity swimming pool or resting on the sun lounges. After being out all day I relaxed in the jacuzzi and sauna. There is a seperate steam room for females and a children's pool, children's playroom with various educational and entertaining toys, an air-conditioned gymnasium, a residents' lounge, restaurants and function rooms.

For those wanting to hold business events, workshops, or meetings for 20 to 126 people, conference rooms are located on the 8th floor. These are also suitable for social events and celebrations. There is a pre-function lounge, audio visual equipment and complimentary Wi-Fi to make each event a stunning success.

Ascott Embassy Sathorn Bangkok - my apartment
Ascott Embassy Sathorn Bangkok is ideally located in the upscaled neighbourhoods of Sathorn and Silom, Bangkok’s central business districts

It is on Sathorn Road, opposite Soi Convent. Nearby are world-class restaurants, cafes, lifestyle shops, temples and churches,

Public transport is nearby, with the Chong Nonsi and Sala Daeng BTS Skytrain stations within walking distance. The huge Lumpini Park and the Lumpini MRT Station are close by. Each day I walked to one of the stations and explored some of the many attractions Bangkok has to offer.
