The Akashi-yaki round dumplings

These round little snacks may look like takoyaki, but they are actually a regional cuisine of Hyogo prefecture!
 
The Akashi-yaki is also round and contains an octopus piece inside, but instead of flour, the snack is made with egg which creates a fluffier exterior. 

Also, a serving of Akashi-yaki comes with a side of a small bowl of broth for dipping the dumplings before you eat. Head to Akashi City where the dish was born, and find up to 70 Akashi-yaki stores to try this cuisine!
