Running through to the end of this year, the event has attracted nearly 100 businesses and service providers operating in the hospitality, transport and food sectors in the city, who are willing to offer holidaymakers up to 200 programmes with prices discounted by between 10% to 50%.
Most of the promotional programmes are half-day, full-day or two-day tours to typical tourist attractions in the city as well as tours to the Mekong River Delta and the Southeast region.
Speaking at the launch ceremony, Vice Chairman of the municipal People’s Committee Le Thanh Liem said that the city’s authorities have eyed stimulating tourism as a key task to recover the city’s economy post-COVID-19.
Accordingly, the city has closely coordinated with localities nationwide to rejuvenate the domestic tourism sector and promote Vietnam as a safe and attractive destination.
