Two distilleries and a vineyard in the UK

Wild Thyme Spirits, Isle of Colonsay, Scotland
The remote island of Colonsay is located on the West Coast of Scotland. between the better- known Scottish islands of Islay and Mull and near to Jura.

The small island is known for its tranquillity, sandy beaches, flora and fauna and wildlife. Wild Thyme Spirits has an exclusive foraging agreement with the Colonsay Estate, owners of the island and the Colonsay House and gardens.

This lets it experiment with an array of local botanicals. Fin and Eileen Geekie relocated from Oxfordshire in 2016 and Wild Thyme Spirits has developed a range of gins and liqueurs with distillery tours and tastings and weekend breaks at their Gin Lover’s Retreat.

Bristol, which is located on the River Avon in the southwest of England, enjoys a long and prosperous maritime history.

Its former city-centre port is now a cultural hub called the Harbourside, where the M Shed museum explores local social and industrial heritage.

The harbour's 19th-century warehouses now offer restaurants, shops and cultural venues. The 6 O'clock Gin Distillery, is one of the original pioneering brands of the UK gin boom.
