The It’s Live! in Queensland events calendar is beginning to make a welcome return, with COVID Safe plans and frameworks allowing events to be staged again.
Across the state, good news of major events returning is being shared – from the announcement that North Queensland’s Country Bank Stadium will light up as Jeff Horn takes on Tim Tsyzu next month, to Brisbane’s Curiocity inviting global creators and makers to design large-scale, interactive digital and physical installations for the 2021 event, to many destination events confirming they will go ahead, creating an opportunity for families, friends and communities to reconnect.
Virtual events too are proving popular, with the Australian Festival of Chamber Music announcing it will be delivered online this year, including features planned to showcase the usual host destination, Townsville. The 7 Sunshine Coast Virtual Run Festival is also planned for next month.
