To provide understanding, we convey various knowledge related to this phenomenon including Falaq. The knowledge gained certainly adds insight to tourists. What made me happy about it is that our creative economy is uplifted and very moving. It’s the proof that many creative economy booths that are currently very crowded by tourists, "said Surjadi, Head of Tourism and Culture of Tanjungpinang Office.
The Science of Falaq studies the path of celestial bodies. More specifically, objects observed by the earth, moon and sun.
"The science of Falaq is very important even though technology is now very modern. In its application in Islam, Falaq has an important role in the implementation of worship. You name it, the direction of Qibla and its shadows, prayer times, the beginning of the month, to the eclipse. This Ring of Solar Eclipse is also included, "said Surjadi.
The Ring Solar Eclipse was triggered in line with the position of the sun, moon and earth. At this moment, the position of the observed moons is smaller than that of the sun. The peak, the middle of the dark sun and the outer side is bright to like a ring.

Geographically, Tanjungpinang is the best spot to enjoy this natural phenomenon. In here, tourists can enjoy the Ring Solar Eclipse with a duration of about 3 minutes 36 seconds, "said Buralimar.
Tanjungpinang Mayor, H Syahrul, added, Tanjung Pinang was very ready to welcome tourists during the Ring of the Sun Eclipse Festival. Because, Tanjung Pinang has nature, culture to culinary delights. There are also other creative works in the form of handicraft products, fashion, bags, and a variety of accessories.
"The Ring of the Sun Eclipse Festival illustrates the diversity of Tanjungpinang's wealth. Tourists got the best variety of sides if they come directly to Tanjungpinang, "he said.
The festival also presented the Earth-Sun-Moon Workshop & Pinhole Workshop with Shoe Boxes. Held on Monday (12/23) afternoon, the Workshop was delivered by ITB Bosscha Bandung team. The team was also a speaker at the Ring of Solar Ring Eclipse with the theme of Earth-Sun-Moon.
"There are many values ??obtained by tourists while in the festival area. With a variety of good content, it's natural that the venue is always crowded with tourists. In addition to knowledge, tourists are also invited to have fun through live music, Wednesday (25/12). Tanjungpinang Sun Eclipse Festival is increasingly interesting because it becomes a media for millennial expressions.
"The festival is very friendly to millennials. Millennials can devote all their creativity there. And, more importantly, this millennial market position is very large. If it is optimized, the millennial market slot will have a positive impact, "said Dessy.
The festival is more entertaining with Live Mural and Music, Dangkong, to the poetry stage. The event then continued with the Eclipse Prayer stretched at 12.00 – 01.00 p.m. In addition to door prizes, the live music stage was presented massively. In total there are 7 bands displayed. The bands include, Seven Svara, Junos Acoustic, Mezzaluna, Nada Svara, and Keroncong Anggrek Merah.
