2019 DTLA Proud Festival (Pershing Square, Downtown)
August 23 – 25, 2019
Now in its fourth year, DTLA Proud Festival returns to the heart of Downtown Los Angeles from August 23 - 25 in Pershing Square. A perfect itinerary addition to a late summer visit, the 3-day festival includes a diverse lineup of local stage talent, community booths, art installations, retail vendors, interactive exhibits, food trucks and a pop-up water park.

Level 8 Drive-In: Summer Movie Series at The Grove (Mid-City)
Now Through September 25, 2018
The Grove, in partnership with Petersen Automotive Museum and luxury car dealership O'Gara Coach, pays homage to the beloved Gilmore Drive-In Movie Theater at Third and Fairfax that operated from 1948-1979 with the first-ever Level 8 Drive-In. Guests are immersed in nostalgia while surrounded by the modern-day luxury signature amenities of The Grove. Level 8 Drive-In features park-and-dine ordering, panoramic city views, and photo ops with iconic cars from the featured films. Movies scheduled include The Great Gatsby, Back to the Future and Iron Man.

Dodgers Baseball Season (Elysian Park)

Visitors have a chance to experience the Los Angeles Dodgers at their home stadium through late summer. After two consecutive appearances in the World Series, the Major League Dodgers remain a hot ticket as they hope to hit a third championship run and their first title since 1988. Two professional football teams, the Los Angeles Rams and Los Angeles Chargers, will play in the 100th season of the National Football League (NFL) beginning this September. Fans can watch the Chargers' home games at Dignity Health Sports Park and Rams' home games at the Memorial Colosseum. For the 2019 season, The Rams made it to the Super Bowl Championship game and are hoping to make a second appearance this year.
