Cherry Blossom Illumination Events

If you’re as much of a Japan enthusiast as we are, you’ll already know that cherry blossoms are a divine spectacle no traveller should miss when travelling to Japan during this season. 

But did you know that viewing the cherry blossoms by night is just as charming as daytime viewing? 

Some of Kyoto’s most iconic sights, such as the famous five-storey Toji-ji temple, hold illumination events allowing travellers to have the cherry blossom experience they may have never expected to have.
