CENTRAL PROVINCES PROMOTE TOURISM IN THAILAND

The central provinces of Nghe An, Ha Tinh and Quang Binh co-organised a programme to promote tourism in Udon Thani province, Thailand, on May 23.

The event was an important activity in the implementation of the cooperation programme between the three north central provinces of Vietnam, contributing to promoting the tourism potential between them and the northeast regions of Thailand.

The programme was attended by the Consul General Nguyen Ngoc Son; representatives from the departments of tourism of Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Quang Binh provinces; and representatives of several tourism agencies in the northeast regions of Thailand, along with around 70 businesses, travel companies, and hotels of the two countries, as well as overseas Vietnamese and international friends in Thailand.

At the programme, the businesses and travel companies of the two countries exchanged and introduced their tourism products, while they found measures to promote the organisation, exploitation and development of tours in the future.

The three provinces of Nghe An, Ha Tinh and Quang Binh have an important geographic location, possessing beautiful and unique natural scenery, as well as a long and beautiful coastline and UNESCO World Heritage sites. The area is a favorite destination for international and regional visitors, including those from Thailand.
